# Corrections — the move's data kit

Dated record of every post-publication change to the files in this directory.
Each entry names what is being corrected, dates the window at both ends, and
states what did and did not move.

## 2026-08-20 — clock readings in c6-vps-rerun.json re-expressed in UTC

**What is being corrected:** `c6-vps-rerun.json` — the C6 serving-bench rerun
record — published its clock readings in a local-offset form from its
publication (2026-08-13) until 2026-08-20. The house publishes UTC only, so
every reading is now written as the same instant in UTC: 958 offset-form
timestamps became Z-form, and 88 bare `journal.since` / `journal.until`
values (which carried no offset but were written on the same local clock)
were re-expressed on the UTC clock, verified against the epoch fields that
sit beside them in the same records.

**What this touches that a careful reader should know:** many of the
converted readings sit inside verbatim captured journal sample lines — the
run's own telemetry, quoted into the record. Those lines no longer
byte-match the journal they were captured from; the measurements they carry
(every duration, token count, verdict, and epoch) are unchanged. Compared to
the prior bytes, nothing moved but the written form of clock readings.

**Not converted:** nothing in this kit retains a local-offset form after
this correction; the pre-registration files are untouched.
