"note": "The cap ladder of 2026-08-27 — the same card, the image lane, walked 600 → 500 → 450 W — rides in this kit under ladder/. It is a SECOND sitting with its own window (2026-08-27, 16:19–18:14Z) and its own registration, added to this kit at the exhibit's release rather than at the bench's; it is not part of the twelve-rung serving arm above and its rows must not be pooled with them. It arrived already sanitised by its own pass, whose record is published verbatim as ladder/provenance-ladder.json and carried per file below; the pre-transform digests of the ladder's files are not published, so sha256_original and identical_to_original read null for them rather than being guessed. One shape of the ladder's record is worth naming rather than smoothing over: it carries TWO kinds of count per file — named ones keyed `<file>:<rule>`, and one unattributed count keyed by the bare filename. Both are carried through verbatim in each file's strip_counts, and `stripped` lists ONLY the rules the record actually names. So sample.json shows 88 fires and an empty `stripped`: eighty-eight substitutions were made in it and the record as written does not say under which rule. That is stated here rather than resolved by guessing. Two later facts about ladder/ are recorded in this object rather than in that record: files_added_after_the_record and repairs.",

Line 20 — the 450 W arm's third gemma call — reached this kit with a substitution written INTO its prompt_eval_duration_ns value: the ladder's port-to-role pass had matched the port number 11435 inside the nanosecond measurement 114356000 and replaced it with that seat's role string, so the field read as a role string with the measurement's last four digits stranded on the end of it — not a number, not valid JSON, and the only such line in this kit. The value 114356000 is restored from the run's own results and checks against the row's other published fields: 536 prompt tokens over 0.114356 s is 4687.117 tokens a second, which is the prefill_tok_s that row already carried. Nothing else on the line moved; the row's port keeps the role string the pass correctly wrote. The record's llm-rows.jsonl:port-to-role count of 49 is left as written, because 49 is what the pass did — one of the 49 was this mistake."
